Obituary of Steven DiNoto
Steven DiNoto, of West Nyack, New York, passed away on June 17, 2021, at the age of 66, surrounded by his loving family.
Steven was born in Bronx, New York to Dominick and Virginia DiNoto. He, along with his brothers and father established DiNoto Deli Bake in New City. He later began his own business, DiNoto Bread, where he delivered fresh "Arthur Avenue bread" throughout many of Rockland Counties’ pizzerias, restaurants, and local stores.
He married Barbara Spicer on October 29, 1983. Together they had two children, a daughter, Melissa, and a son, Dominick.
After many hardworking years as "The Breadman," he retired in 2016. He spent his retirement time doing what he loved most, spending time with his family. He cherished special moments with his parents, siblings, wife, children, and especially with his three grandchildren. Steven's hobbies included collecting model cars, listening to Elvis, and cheering on his favorite team, the New York Yankees.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, his children, Melissa (Anthony) and Dominick, and his three grandchildren, Sophia, Joseph, and Amelia. He is also survived by his mother, Virginia; brothers, Dominick, Anthony (Cynthia); sister, Jeanine (Ron); sister-in-law, Joanne; father-in-law, Harold (Cathy); father-in-law, Tom; sister-in-law, Janet (Andy); and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Dominick (2020); brother, John (2018); mother-in-law, Patricia (2011); and sister-in-law, Anita (1998).
