Carol Annunziata

Obituary of Carol Annunziata

Carol Ann Annunziata of Chestnut Ridge, NY passed away peacefully at the Joe Raso Hospice Residence in New City, NY on February 4th.

Carol Ann was born in the Bronx, NY to William and Elsie Smith.   She is survived by her children Thomas Annunziata,  Linda Annunziata, Laura Annunziata, Gina  (Anthony) Coluccio,  grandchildren Alexandra (Adam) Meyer, George Lippi III (Lisa), great grandchildren Benjamin and Peyton, brother William (Helen) Smith and many nieces and nephews.

Carol Ann's joyous homecoming in heaven included her loving father and mother, sister Joan Feldman, brother Walter Smith, family and childhood friends.

Carol Ann will be remembered by her family as a smart and stunningly beautiful classy woman who enjoyed many good early childhood years with her family in the Bronx.  She was a caring, compassionate and kind mother who did all she could for her children before many illnesses touched her life.

She loved music, food, rides to look at the changing leaves, her daytime naps and time with her children.

As in her early days where she loved to dance, especially with her children after dinner time, it was music that helped her enjoy her days as Alzheimer's progressed and the heavenly sounds of calming music as she left this earth to her home with God.

Carol Ann was still smiling and laughing up until her last few days.

Her serene, peaceful, painless passing was a prayer answered.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

In honor and in memory of Carol Ann, please remember fragile or sick family members or friends who could use your help, time and love.

Especially, our precious seniors and elderly who it seems are the most forgotten when they need help the most.

Be God's hands here on earth in Carol Ann's memory.
