Adele is predeceased by her beloved husband, William Kremer, of 56 years. After saying “I do” in 1957, William and Adele were blessed with two children. Until their last days together, William and Adele loved each other, just as passionately as they had on their wedding day. The pair became known as Papa + Momma Bear.
She is survived by her beloved children, William G. Kremer and Kristine J. Buonanno (Michael Buonanno) of Warwick NY, formerly of Montvale, NJ. Beloved Grandmother to five grandchildren, that she loved so very much and who they adored even more, William (Woody) Kremer of Stony Point, NY, Victoria Bogosian DiDominica (Douglas DiDominica), Demi Bogosian (Ryan Rebasch), Michael Buonanno and Devon Buonanno.
Adele spent most of her career working for the Social Security Office of Nanuet, NY. Her attention to detail and aspiration were inspiring to her family. Adele was the most amazing mother and grandmother, which was her favorite job of all. She was an extremely active and dedicated parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church. She sang in the church choir and performed in many of the plays put on by St. Anthony’s. Adele loved to knit and crotchet, especially items for her family to wear. On stage or off stage, Adele was always a show-stopper. She would spend hours in the store, just to complete the perfect outfit and pick out the perfect accessories. Her favorite thing to do was go shopping. Those who knew Adele, knew that she took the upmost pride in her appearance. At 87, anyone who met her complemented her flawless skin and wanted to know the secrets of her famous beauty routine. Above all things, Adele loved her children and grandchildren and there was nothing she would not do for them.
Adele defied all odds after receiving a terminal diagnosis, surviving for 18 years and putting up a great fight. There was not a day that she complained; she fought every day with dignity and grace. Adele and her family are eternally grateful to Dr. Fiona Gupta, M.D., for her continuous support, love and treatment during Adele’s fight against Parkinson’s Disease. Additionally, Adele and her family wish to express their love + appreciation to the doctors, therapists, caregivers and hospice who have helped us all along this journey. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a tribute donation to the Parkinson’s Foundation, in hopes to find to a cure for this disease.
