Vincent J Sullo – Obituary
Vincent Joseph Sullo, 85, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 13, 2020.He leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 years, June. He also leaves his children, Laura (Edward) Rusiecki, Joanne (Bob) Lutz, and James (Michele) Sullo. He also leaves 5 grandchildren,Andrew Rusiecki, Thomas Rusiecki, Kristen (Rusiecki)and John Becker, Robert Lutz and Matthew Lutz.He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Vincent was born March 31, 1935 to Frances and Joseph Sullo. He was also predeceased by his sister, May Corrente. He married October 13, 1956. They lived in the Bronx and moved up to Pearl River in 1960 where they raised their family.
Vincent was a member of the NYPD for 33 years. He started in Forensics and rose to the rank of Detective. He was very proud of his work with the NYPD.Vincent was also proud of his time in the Marine Corps.
He loved to play cards, golf, and to have a good time. He enjoyed cruising the sea. In later years, he loved his second home in Naples, Florida. He couldn’t wait to go after the holidays and hated to come back home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, July 17th at 10:00am at St. Anthony's Parish Church, 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY 10954. Burial to follow at St. Anthony"s Cemetery.
