Obituary of Armando Birli

Dino was born on October 7, 1931 in New York City to Anthony and Esther Birli. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.

Dino was a successful furniture buyer working for companies such as Saks Fifth Avenue, E.J. Korvettes, and Value City Furniture. Dino was a nature lover and spent much of his free time deep sea fishing and bird watching.  In his retirement, he would spend most days at the Botanical Gardens in the Bronx feeding, photographing, and watching the birds.  He was known as the “Birdman” to all the visitors.

Dino is survived by his three loving nephews, Louis Kasamis (Pomona, NY), James Kasamis and wife Catherine (Alpharetta, GA), and Dino Kasamis and wife Joann (Garnerville, NY), great-nephews Nicholas Kasamis, Kyle Kasamis, Stephen Kasamis, Christian Kasamis, and many cousins.

Dino was pre-deceased by his mother Esther Georgio, sister Eleanor Kasamis, and brother-in-law Nick Kasamis.
