Obituary of Jim Kelleher
James Kelleher passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at
75 years old. He was born on November 14,1942 to Francis and
Helen Kelleher. His life was well lived and purposeful.
Jim married the love of his life Maureen (Welch) on May 23, 1970,
and moved to Bronx NY, and they eventually put down roots in
White Plains NY, where they raised their two daughters. Jim was
an executive at Bell Security Inc in NYC until he happily retired in
2004. Jim was a long time member of the White Plains Board of
Education, a volunteer at St. Bernard’s Parish, an active member
of the Old Guard in White Plains, and eventually an active
member of St. Anthony’s Parish in Nanuet.
Jim is predeceased by his parents, and his younger brother Tom.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Maureen, and
daughters Kathleen and Michelle (Paschal) Donohoe. Jim leaves
behind countless people who love him, and who are loved, but
none greater than those who call him Oompa: his granddaughter
Maeve, and grandson Cathal.
In Lieu of ﬂowers the family is requesting donations be made to
Gilda’s Club of Westchester in his memory.
