Obituary of Thomas Dillon

Thomas J. Dillon of West Nyack, NY passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018 at the age of 90. Thomas was born in New York City and raised in the Bronx. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Kathleen. Thomas served his country in the United States Army stationed in Alaska. He was a longtime employee of Otis Elevator Co., a division of United Technologies and later the US Army in Bayonne, NJ.

He was a member of both the Nanuet and West Nyack Seniors. He enjoyed gardening and singing and was a longtime member of the St. Anthony's Church choir. He traveled the world extensively with his wife, Kathleen, by his side.

Thomas is survived by his devoted children Kathryn Dillon Tully, Irene Dillon Labato, Thomas and his wife Cindy, and Michael and his wife Maureen, his cherished grandchildren Daniel, Sean, Taylor, Megan, Thomas, Lina, Michael and Mackenzie and great grandson Aedan. He is also survived by his brother Stephen and sisters Ann Glynn, Mary Finnegan, and Eileen Glynn. He was predeceased by his brother, Daniel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 5th at St. Anthony's Church, 36 West Nyack Rd., Nanuet, NY. Burial will immediately follow at the Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY.
