Obituary of Alfred Alcaro

Alfred Alcaro, age 85, of Blauvelt, New York died Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Joe Raso Hospice Residence of New City, NY.  Alfred was born July 15, 1933 in the Bronx, NY.  He is the son of Albino and Marie (Citarella) Alcaro. He married Margo Lopez on September 19, 1954. 

 

He proudly served his country as a US Marine during the Korean War.

 

He served in the NYPD for 20 years.

 

 He was a member of the American Legion Post 329 Pearl River, NY, The Ancient Order of Hiberians, Pearl River, and an usher for St. Catherine’s Church, Blauvelt, for over 20 years. 

He is survived by his wife Margo, Son Tony, Daughter Adrienne Alcaro; and grandsons Ernest, Micco and A.J.

 

His funeral will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Catharine's Of Alexandra Church, 523 Western Highway, Blauvelt, NY. Interment will immediately follow at the Frederick Loescher Veteran Cemetery.
