Obituary of Louis Berardi

Louis A. Berardi, Jr. of Piermont, NY passed away on _______________________ at the age of 90. Louis was born in Manhattan, NY on November 29, 1927 to the late Louis A. and Anna (DiCasoli) Berardi. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and received 2 Bronze Service Stars. Louis married Anna Marie –maiden name?- on May 18, 1958 in Englewood, NJ. She predeceased him on April 22, 2000.

He worked at Lederle Labs in Pearl River, NY and was a lifelong Yankee fan and an avid car racing enthusiast. He also liked fishing and playing Bingo.

Louis was a member of the Sons of Italy/Giovanni da Verrazzano Lodge #1236 in Piermont, a member of the Knights of Columbus and he belonged to the American Legion Post #1044.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Ann M. Berardi-Lord and her husband Preston Lord and Angela Pfeiffer and her husband Richard, his devoted grandchildren, Thomas and his wife Kendall Lord and Sarah and her husband Matthew Girgis and his cherished great grandson, Kole Lord. Louis is also survived by his brother, William and his wife Charlette and his two sisters, Rose Cable and Lee Werner. He is predeceased by his brother, Nick Berardi, and sister, Angela Carucci.
