Obituary of Claire Conlon
Claire I. Conlon, born in Weehawken, NJ on August 9, 1930 died peacefully at home on 05/15/18 of natural causes. Claire was a Cheerleader at St. Joseph’s High School in West New York, NJ when she met her true love James Conlon. She graduated from High School, married James and moved to West Nyack, NY where they raised seven children together. She later continued her education, graduated as a Registered Nurse from Rockland Community College, and worked for over 30 years as an RN in the Operating Room at Nyack Hospital – a career that she thoroughly enjoyed as she was very well respected by the Surgeons and OR Staff. Claire was preceded in death by James, her beloved husband of over 50 years; her parents Cornelius and Caroline Ferry; brothers Daniel and Cornelius Ferry; and son Michael Conlon. She is survived by her children Kathleen (Dempsey); James Jr.; John and his wife Patricia; Maureen; Paul and Mary; Grandmother to 11 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Friends may call on May 17, 2018 at the Joseph W. Sorce F.H. Inc. from 2 – 4pm or
