Josue Jean Baptiste

Pastor Josue Jean Baptiste was born on July 10, 1973, in Port-Au-Prince Haiti, from Victoire Jean Baptiste, mother, and Pastor Max Jean Baptiste, father. He was the fifth child of a family with seven children. He was born in a christian family, but still yet at an early age he publicly accepted the Lord as his savior, and was baptized at the age of 11. He preached his first sermon when he was only 12 years old. As he evolved from a boy to a teenager, we could see the Gospel minister that he would become; A strong, steadfast, assured individual who is not hesitant to preach God's words in all occasions.

He dedicated his life serving the Lord and climbed all the echelons of the Evangelical ministry: Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Choir Director, Preacher, and finally Pastor. In January 2001, he left Haiti to join his wife in the US, whom he married in 2000. He was a loyal servant, a generous man, and above all a great family man who treated his wife with respect and love, and considered her to be a princess.

As the family leader he always had the first and the last word, and was good at making decisions. As a shepherd he demonstrated true leadership and had earned the respect of the people he served. He always made people who came on his ways confortable with a smile, and courtesy. We are confident that Pastor Josue is not dead, but he has made a trip to Heaven.

He leaves to cherish his memory: His beloved wife, Dalidad Jean Baptiste- His children: Derick, Dhania, Darsha- His mother: Victoire- His brothers and sisters: Carlo, Marlene, Nyson, Chrismanie, Maxi, Clautaire- His nephews and nieces: Karly, James, Daphney, Vanessa, Marvel, Freud, Chistalie, Nyan, Jemeema, Victoria, family and a host of friends who played very important roles in his life.
