| Virginia Hughes of Valley Cottage, NY a longtime parishioner of St. Ann’s Church in Nyack, NY, passed away on Saturday July 17, 2010 at the age of 93. She graduated from the College of New Rochelle and was instrumental in starting the food pantry at St. Ann’s, feeding the poor and the Interfaith Breakfast Program at the United Church in Spring Valley. Virginia was on the parish counsel at St. Ann’s and also St. Vincent DePaul Society. She was single but had many friends.
Friends may call Wednesday July 21, 2010 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm at the “Family Owned” Joseph W. Sorce F.H. Inc.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday July 22, 2010 at 10:00 am in St. Ann's Church, 16 Jefferson Ave., Nyack, NY.
