He was born, on April 2, 1928 to Pompeo and Uoga Nervegna in Toronto, Canada.

Aldo married Rose Jerusa in 1952 and moved to Nanuet, NY from Queens in 1968, where he has resided with his family for the last 42 years. Rose predeceased him on Sept. 28, 2000.

He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and served as a Clerk General at HQ. Co. 229th Ordinance Base, Japan. He was a member of the Sons of Italy in Blauvelt and liked going to Atlantic City.

Aldo is survived by his son, Aldo Jr. and wife Melanie, his daughter, Carol McGill and husband Ray, his grandchildren, Kristen Gallagher (Robert), Nicholas Nervegna, Lindsay VanDerBeek (Brian), Timothy McGill and Megan McGill. Aldo was also blessed with 5 beautiful great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Colin and Jack Gallagher, Savanna and Presleigh VanDerBeek and his sister-in-law, Mafalda Nervegna.

He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph.

Friends will receive friends on Thursday July 1, 2010 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm at the “Family Owned” Joseph W. Sorce F.H. Inc.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 2, 2010 at 11:00 am in St. Anthony's Shrine Church, 36 West Nyack Rd., Nanuet.

Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
