| Mildred Ann Schulte passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2010. She was born in Jefferson City, Missouri, on January 6, 1936, to Linus and Ermalinda Neuner Hasenbeck. On February 11, 1956, she was married to Joseph R. Schulte who survives at the home in Nanuet. Over the years Mildred held positions as secretary, data-entry operator, typesetter, programmer, and most recently as a free-lance proofreader and copy editor. She loved her family and friends. She enjoyed The NY Times puzzles, Jeopardy, poker, pitch, pinochle, good music, good books, good food, and a good martini. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons and three daughters, Glenn (Kathy), Jolene, Jayne Vetere (Mark), John, Eric, and Krista McCormack (Tom); grandchildren Anne Marie, Emily, Christine, Katie, Lisa, Aine, Liam, and Michael; and two sisters and four brothers in Missouri. One daughter, Zoe, one brother, and her parents preceded her in death. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony's Church in Nanuet, NY, on Monday, June 14th, at 11:00 A.M. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Anyone wishing to make a memorial offering is asked to please make a donation to help feed the hungry or have a Mass offered for the repose of her soul. |
