He was born on February 25, 1940 in Manhattan to Nicholas and Mildred (Safran) Rinaldi.

Mr. Rinaldi married Norma Ginsberg on Feb. 18, 1961 in the Bronx, NY.

He retired from the Sanitation Dept. in NYC and was known as a wise guy, he owned a Wise potato chip route in Yonkers. Sam liked to walk the mall, bargain shop and go to OTB. He was co-owner of a couple of trotters.

He is survived by his loving wife Norma, beloved daughter, Melissa Meyers and her husband Richard, his two cherished grandchildren, Joanna and Andrew and his beloved dog, Carly.

Sam was predeceased by a sister, Dolores Trimarco and brother-in-law, Joseph.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm at the “Family Owned” Joseph W. Sorce F.H. Inc. where services will be held on Sunday evening at 8:00 pm with the Rev. David Lothrop.
