She was born on March 18, 1908 in Oneida, NY. Ann married Louis Spina on Nov. 29, 1931 at St. Theresa’s Church in the Bronx. She was a wonderful Mom to Sally McKenzie, Joan (Bob) Hirt and Louis Jr. (Glenda) and daughter-in-law, Sandy Azzone, cherished grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 3. She was a very special nanny. Ann loved to sew, garden, cook and travel. Ann and her husband Lou made many trips all over the world. Mom was a wonderful women and always there for family and friends. We will miss her terribly but take comfort knowing she is now at rest.

Friends may call Sunday March 7, 2010 from 1 to 5 pm at the “Family Owned” Joseph W. Sorce F.H. Inc.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:15 am in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 128 Parrott Rd., West Nyack.

Entombment will be in St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made in Ann’s name to the Alzheimer's Association Hudson Valley/Rockland, 20 Squadron Blvd., Suite 345, New City, NY 10956-5242 or Nyack Manor Nursing Home.
