He was born on October 10, 1946 to Antoinette and Joseph Profenna.

Beloved husband to Jo-Ann Merla-Profenna, devoted father to Stephanie and Nicole and brother to Louis and Joseph. Nick proudly served his country in Vietnam. Upon returning to Rockland he worked for the Clarkstown Highway Dept. for 35 years before retiring, and moved to Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. to become an avid “snowbird golfer”. When in NY he was a member of the Rockland Rodders Assn., frequented and participated in many car shows.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday (TODAY) from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm at the “Family Owned” Joseph W. Sorce F.H. Inc.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am St. Anthony's Church, 36 West Nyack Rd., Nanuet, NY.

Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Hi Tor Animal Shelter in Pomona, NY.
